Refinish, reface, or replace, honestly
If your cabinet boxes are solid and the layout works, refinishing gets you a factory-grade sprayed finish for a fraction of replacement cost. If the layout is fighting you, new cabinetry is worth it. We tell you which one your kitchen actually needs, then quote both so you can compare.
Permits and inspections handled
Moving plumbing, adding circuits, or opening a wall means the city gets involved. We prepare the submittal, pull the permit, and coordinate every inspection so the project stays legal and appraisable.

- Most kitchen remodels in North County San Diego run 4 to 8 weeks from demo to final walkthrough, depending on the scope, cabinet lead times, and whether we are moving plumbing or electrical. A cabinet refinish plus counters and backsplash can be done in about two weeks. You get a written schedule before we start, and a site lead who keeps it on track.
- If we are only replacing cabinets, counters, flooring, and paint, you usually do not. Once we move plumbing, add or relocate electrical circuits, or take down a wall, the city requires a permit. We handle the submittal and the inspections so you never have to stand in line at the counter.
- Yes, most of our clients do. We set up dust containment, protect floors and pathways, keep a temporary sink or prep area where possible, and clean the site every day. We will also walk you through the weeks when the kitchen will be fully out of service so you can plan meals ahead.
- If the boxes are solid and the layout works, refinishing or refacing saves 60 to 80 percent versus new cabinetry and looks factory-new when it is sprayed properly, which is exactly what our paint side has done for 30 years. If you are changing the layout or the boxes are failing, new cabinetry is the better investment. We will tell you honestly which one your kitchen needs.
